Apple Maps is the default map system of iOS, macOS, and watchOS. It is mainly intended to provide directions and estimated times of arrival for automobile, pedestrian, and public transportation navigation. It's not an app for discovery and near-me search.

Apple Maps has been evolving rapidly and now there is more functionality available to our customers with the introduction of the new Apple Business Connect.

Apple Business Connect

We now support the connection through the new Apple Business Connect, which is a free tool that allows businesses of all sizes to claim their location place cards and customize the way key information appears to more than a billion Apple users across Apple Maps, Messages, Wallet, Siri, and other apps.

More information on how Apple Business Connect works and is set up on our platform can be found here. And here is the latest user guide for Uberall users on Apple Business Connect, which can be shared with customers.

To sum up, here is what our customers can leverage on Apple Maps through the Uberall platform

1. Listings - we support the submission of listings, which is the core requirement for the use of Apple Business Connect. Listings are supported both for customers who have connected their Apple Business Connect account and those who have not.

2. Showcases - Showcases are social posts on the Apple Maps, which will show on the placecard of the business. Available to customers who have connected their Apple Business Connect. More details can be found here.

3. Action Links - Action links are buttons in the actions row on the place card. They start in the fourth button position, next to the default action buttons: directions, call, and website. More information on how it's supported can be found in this article. Available to customers who have connected their Apple Business Connect.

4. Apple Maps Insights -  Insights are analytics on your listing performance on Apple Maps, which is available on Uberall.

Note! Apple Maps does not support reviews, they usually fetch the reviews from Yelp or other platforms to show on their placecards.
