What is a Hard Re-auth?
A Hard Re-Auth is a more aggressive alternative to simply re-authenticating your Facebook connection within MomentFeed. Typically, re-authenticating your Facebook connection is done completely within MomentFeed and is only refreshing your Facebook connection. A Hard Re-Auth is completely removing any access MomentFeed has to your Facebook account and as a result, your brand. Once you complete the re-auth, a new connection is established.
Why would I need to do it?
There are times when your Facebook token gets ‘stuck’. When this happens Facebook is not sending or receive data to or from MomentFeed. Even though a normal re-auth fixes a majority of connectivity issues, once your token is stuck, a hard re-auth is required to wipe out the bad connection and establish a new one.
