This article gives an overview of Uberall's integration with Olo.
What is it?
Uberall's integration with Olo enables the pulling of menu and specific location information from Olo into the Uberall platform.
This integration keeps Uberall data sync'd with current information in Olo.
Information in Uberall cannot currently be passed back to Olo, due to limitations on Olo's side.
How does it work?
Clients will need to already be set up on Olo.
From there:
- The client will need to submit a request to Olo allowing Uberall to access their location and menu information - our team will help guide the process.
- The client will need to select which groups of information they want pulled from Olo. The groups of information can be reviewed in the next section of this article.
- Uberall will finish the connection with Olo and initiate the pull.
- Data will be pulled from Olo nightly and the selected fields will be updated in Uberall.
- Changes will be pushed to listings, available to other Uberall products, and available via the API.
- All fields that are updated from Olo will be set to 'View Only' in the Uberall platform, meaning no changes can be made to those fields.
- The reason for this is that any changes to these fields on Uberall would be overwritten with the next day's pull from Olo. Any data that should be changed for these fields must be changed in Olo.
What information is pulled from Olo?
Clients can select from the following groups of data to pull from Olo. All fields listed within a group will be pulled for the selected group. Any group or combination of groups can be selected - no group is required and not every group has to be pulled.
