Managing contacts’ data in Salesforce for individuals who have left the company of record in our system is essential to keeping our CRM accurate and up-to-date. Tracking this enables prospect- and customer-facing functions to know who is active at their accounts and for marketing purposes.
When you identify a contact who has left the current company marked in Salesforce:
- We strongly recommend doing quick research to see if they’ve moved to another relevant company/role. If you are able to identify that they went to another company/role that would be relevant to Uberall, please tag Marketing Ops in Chatter.
- If you identify that the new company/role is not relevant to Uberall or you can't obtain this information, populate the “No longer at company” checkbox on the Contact record shown below:
3. Revenue Operations will review contacts no longer at the company on a semi-regular basis, to either remove them from Salesforce or identify the new role/organization if the Contact Owner was unable to do so.
