Can Locator metrics be tracked?

Yes, metrics can be tracked. Tracking is activated by default when using Advanced Analytics. Using the "data-trackevents=true" attribute or enabling it in the builder enables metrics tracking for Google Analytics. The following metrics will be tracked: Clicks on call, directions, CTA, website and e-mail.

Where can I set up a Call To Action (CTA) button?

1. In the “Locator + Pages” builder in the platform, click on the “Store Locator” tab. At the bottom, you can select “Primary” or “Primary and Secondary” for your CTAs.

2. Save your new configuration.

3. Go to the “Location Hub” and export the Locations file.

4. In the Excel file, you should find two columns: callToActionText and callToActionUrl. Fill out both columns to configure a primary CTA button for each location. The callToActionText can contain any text or numbers, so you can also add a phone number instead of a URL, for example.

5. If you would like to configure a secondary CTA button, you can add two new columns to the Excel file: callToActionText2 and callToActionUrl2 and fill out the columns as with the primary CTA button.

6. Import the newly saved file. Once uploaded, the CTA will appear on the Locator.

How many Locators can be created per Business?

There is no limit of Locator pages that can be created per Business.
Any Locator can have 1 or many businesses attached to it. This allows for multiple businesses to have their own individual Locators and the option to also regroup all those businesses into one global Locator.

Can the search results be prioritised?

Example: A brand manufacturer, who has a distinction between premium and normal retailers, would like that the first result on the Locator of their global website to always be a premium retailer, even if a normal retailer is closer to the user.

It is not currently possible to prioritise the search results.

Can I add and delete Content List information to my Locator?

Yes, you can do it yourself as long as your user role is either Admin or Multi-Account Manager. Please follow the instructions in this article.

What size should landscape pictures have?

The default display size on a desktop screen is 1140x250px. It is recommended to use a picture with dimensions as close to that default size as possible. If the size can't be followed, the aspect ratio between width and height should be maintained for proper display. The dimensions of the landscape picture will adapt to the display, but always retain the same aspect ratio.

Can we display videos?

It is possible to display videos via the Engage feature news/posting. It will appear in the upper right section of the page.

How much space on my website do I need for Locator+Pages

In order to display the Locator & Pages product correctly you need at least an area of 1280x600px.

How do I get my Locator & Pages indexed?

You will need to upload either your Sitemap or the URLs of the Locator into your Google Search Console to start the process of indexing those pages. We recommend to first remove the hashbangs to speed up the process.

Go to the Google Tool for schema.org structured data and insert the Link. Run the test and see the results as errors, warning etc.
