Brand (business) level connections allow you to associate and link the whole Business to a specific directory page or user. Depending on the directory it can serve one or many different purposes:
- as a default connection for new listings
- enable posting (if it's built for the directory)
- retrieve insights
Who can establish this connection?
Currently only Admin users can establish or remove the connection.

Facebook connection
Once enforced, Facebook brand level connection ensures that every new location that gets created within that account receives the same Facebook access and is crated underneath the Facebook brand page. It also guarantees that if a single listing gets disconnected from the account, it will automatically receive back the same connection.
Only Facebook brand pages are eligible for connection.
Instagram connection
A connection would enable you to post and interact with Instagram content.
Instagram depends on having a preexisting Facebook setup and a few other conditions:
1. Valid Facebook connection - in the platform, you need to have at least one Account having a valid connection to Facebook before that Account becomes available under the Instagram tile as per the screenshots
2. Instagram profile linked to Facebook page in business manager - in order to be successfully linked, the Facebook page from Step 1. has to be linked to the Instagram page you're intending to connect. This needs to happen in the Facebook Business manager or on Instagram directly. Brand level connection vs Listings connection
Brand level connection can also be established from the Listings page by going through the flow and clicking 'Connect all locations'. After this is made, the brand level connection will be visible in the Brand level page.
