Location Hub Enhancements
New Location Profile UX Improvements
| | Activation | For Listings Subscribers |
| | Availability | Coming in October |
| | Users | All Users |
|
LPO Advantage | While not a direct impact on LPO, simplifying the user experience by making it easier to understand limitations of certain location statuses can help users to ensure that their profiles are communicating the right information and better understand how their data is/is not being published. |
We've cleaned up messaging across the Location Profile pages so it's easier to understand what a location's status means for its data. From Coming Soon banners to Permanently Closed flows, these changes help you know exactly what's publishing where and why.
This release introduces four (4) new user experience improvements to the Location Profile page:
-
Coming Soon locations will now have improved messaging across the profile that better indicates the status of the location and the impact to syncing location data.
- Coming Soon locations now show a banner clarifying that only Google and Facebook are supported until the opening date.
- The Opening Date field is directly tied to the coming soon status of the location. Changing an open location's date to the future now flags that it will unpublish from all directories except Google and Facebook.

-
Permanently Closed locations also receive improvements on messaging to clear up discrepancies on syncing status and the flow to transition a location to permanently closed.
- Permanently Closed locations no longer show a misleading "Auto-Sync: On" indicator.
- The "Edit Profile" button now reads "View Profile" for Permanently Closed locations
- Users have to click publish updates for the permanent closure to take effect which gives the opportunity to choose the effective closure date to start immediately or scheduled for a future date. This update moves the final confirmation step for closing a location after clicking Publish, giving you a clear last checkpoint.

- Service Area Businesses can now see which connected directories don't support hidden addresses. We are introducing a new expandable menu containing the connected listings that do not support the feature when 'Hide your location address' is enabled.

- The Reviews card on the location profile Overview page is receiving a naming update to better identify what is being counted on the card. This small update reduces confusion on what the count is showing which is unanswered reviews as opposed to the total number of reviews for the location.

Translating incoming reviews and responses in platform makes it easier for anyone to monitor and manage reviews regardless of their proficiency in the language the review was posted in. To help do so, we are adding the capability to translate reviews and AI generated replies natively within the Uberall platform. Users will be able to tackle reviews in their native language removing the barrier that can often lead to delays or prevent reviews from being replied to.
