LPO Advantage | Permission issues for Facebook and Instagram pages affect a users ability to complete any actions that drive optimizations. By making it easier to resolve issues, businesses can return to activity that drive LPO to generate revenue. |
Correctly provisioning the connection Facebook & Instagram is required for taking advantage of features within the platform; publishing location data, creating social posts, and pulling analytics.
Users will encounter challenges if these permissions are denied and admins may have trouble identifying what the issues are. This often leads to users having to disconnect and reconnect the entire Facebook connection.
We are introducing a new flow that makes it easier to resolve any provisioning issues that can occur when authenticating Facebook and Instagram.
Key Benefits ✨
- New workflow to grant access to all Facebook and Instagram pages for the authorized user.
- New workflow grants access to all permissions on the page to use for platform actions (location updates, posts, and pulling analytics).
- Enables resolution at the location level for location managers from the listings page, previously only available at the business level connection for Admins or Business Managers.

Getting Started
Users can identify permission issues and launch the new flow from the Homepage, Business Listings Connections page, or a Location's Connections + Listings page. Each area will have a ‘Complete Connection’ call-to-action to launch the new permissions flow.

AI Discoverability

|
LPO Advantage | This spotlights syncing your location data which is a vital part in success of your Visibility pillar in LPO. By updating your location data on key publishers (Google, Apple Maps, Facebook, etc.) you are also “submitting” data to AI tools, actively influencing your discoverability in AI search. |
AI search has become a key channel where consumers are discovering your businesses. Those AI tools where consumers search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity) retrieve your business data from the same trusted sources that Uberall publishes your location data to. Because of this, you can rest assured knowing that your business is always putting its best foot forward in AI search visibility.
This update adds ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity to the list of connections found at the location level providing the reassurance your data has been “submitted” to their trusted sources giving the AI tools access to your latest updates and confidence to recommend your business.

Getting Started
This feature is automatically live in your location profile connections with no additional work needed.
- Head over to Location Hub
- Select a Location from the list.
- Click on ‘View’ in the Connections + Listings tile of the profile overview
- ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity will appear in the All Listings section
- Their status will show as ‘Submitted’ since they do not have a direct connection available, pulling their data from trusted data sources like Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, etc.

LPO Advantage | This directly assists with the Visibility pillar. By simplifying the process of uploading images, businesses can ensure that they upload photos to their profiles, driving more search and AI discoverability. |
With this update we are making it easier to upload photos to location profiles when you're on the go! By adding the capability of cropping uploaded images, users can upload any image through the mobile app and crop to fit the proper aspect ratio needed. As example, a logos typically need to be in a square format and this can be easily accomplished using the new cropping tool. Use the image cropping tool by tapping an uploaded photo and click on the ‘Edit’ button to launch the tool.

Local Page Enhancements
FAQ Content Type
| | Activation | All Packages |
| | Availability | Coming Soon |
| | Users | All Users |
|
LPO Advantage | Publishing more content to your Local Pages influences the Visibility pillar and can ultimately help with conversion. AI platforms utilize FAQs found on local pages to answer customer questions and recommend your business. |
Search engines and AI assistants (AI Overviews/Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity) no longer just match to keywords; they evaluate confidence and trust. Having frequently asked questions (FAQs) on your local pages acts as an essential bridge between what consumers ask and what AI models need to retrieve in a format that AI and search engines prefer.
The FAQ Content type is a new option that will be available within Content Collections. Users will be able to create FAQs for their local pages that will help improve their visibility in local and AI search. Once created, they be aggregated into Content Collection that can be utilized across Local Pages. If you are using Uberall's Self-Builder, you can easily toggle the visibility of the FAQs on the Local Page configurations.
