The Listings Page
Table of Contents
Overview
The Listings page shows the real-time status of your business location on every connected directory — Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, and more. It tells you exactly which listings are live and confirmed, which need your attention, and which are still catching up after a recent change, so you never have to guess whether a delay needs action.
The page replaces the older single “Updating” status with a clearer split: listings that are normally in progress show as In Progress, while confirmed live listings show as Live (Synced). This makes it easy to tell the difference between “still catching up” and “genuinely stuck.”
Where to find it
Open a location profile, then select the Listings tab. The page is available to all roles that manage a location day to day (Admin, Account Manager, Business Manager, and Location Manager).
| 📌 Note: Permanently closed locations are redirected to the location’s Overview tab instead of showing the Listings page. |
Page states
The page picks one of four states based on the location’s current situation. States are applied in priority order — earlier states override later ones:
| State | When it appears | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Not Live | The location has never completed its first sync | A red banner and a Start Sync button; all listings appear under Action Required |
| Auto-sync off | Automatic syncing has been turned off for this location | A banner showing when listings were last published, with a button to turn syncing back on; In Progress and Live sections appear greyed out |
| Opening soon | The location’s opening date is in the future (and it has synced before, with auto-sync on) | A banner naming the opening date and which directories are already discoverable; only the Live and Scheduled sections are shown |
| Default | None of the above | The normal three sections: Action Required, In Progress, Live |
Understanding your listings
Summary cards across the top show a total count plus one card per section currently visible. Their numbers always match the rows in the tables below — they come from the same data.
Action Required
Each listing that needs your attention gets its own row with a corrective button — Connect, Verify, Claim, Add Website, Resolve Permission Issues, and others.
Two situations are grouped into a single expandable row with one shared button:
- Requiring sync — listings that haven’t been pushed yet but have nothing wrong. One Start Sync button covers all of them, since a sync runs for the whole location at once.
- Missing [field] — two or more listings blocked by the same missing required field. One Add [Field] button takes you to that field to fix it for all of them.
| ⚠️ Tip: Connect, Verify, and Access all open a popup window to the directory. If your browser blocks that popup, nothing happens and no error is shown. If clicking Connect seems to do nothing, allow popups for this site and try again. |
In Progress
These listings have been accepted and are being pushed to the directory — they’re not yet confirmed live. Each row shows how long ago the listing was last pushed (for example, “15m,” “2h,” or “1d”) and, for some directories, roughly how long it typically takes to go live.
Live
Listings here are confirmed active on their directory. Depending on how the directory works, a live listing shows one of three sub-statuses:
- Synced — the directory has confirmed the listing is live and current
- Submitted — handed off to a directory that never confirms receipt (flat-file export), so this is as confirmed as it gets
- Linked — a manually linked or read-only listing that Uberall doesn’t actively manage end to end
Scheduled (opening-soon locations only)
Listings that are blocked only by a future opening date appear here. This section only shows when the location is otherwise healthy and synced.
Listing details panel
Click anywhere on a listing row (or choose Listing Details from its ⋮ menu) to open a panel showing: the listing’s status, any directory-reported reason for that status, missing fields, who connected it and when, related social networks, and general information about that directory.
Service-area businesses
If the location is a service-area business hiding its address, a separate collapsed panel above the sections lists which directories can’t carry the location for that reason, with a link to the address settings. Those directories are not counted as broken listings.
Listing statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Action Required | Something needs your attention: connect, verify, claim, add a missing field, resolve a permissions issue, or fix a directory-reported problem |
| In Progress | Accepted and being pushed to the directory; not yet confirmed live |
| Live (Synced) | The directory has confirmed the listing is live and current |
| Live (Submitted) | Handed off to a directory that never confirms receipt; this is as far as status can go for that directory type |
| Live (Linked) | A manually linked or read-only listing |
| Scheduled | Blocked only by a future opening date; shown in its own section when the location is otherwise healthy |
| No status shown | The location hasn’t completed its first sync yet, or the listing is for a directory your plan doesn’t include |
| 💡 Data freshness: It refreshes automatically after a successful Connect, Verify, or Access — otherwise reload the page to see very recent changes. |
