General Steps: Create a CNAME Record: DNS Provider How-to Articles Troubleshooting:

This article guides you through the process of changing your CNAME record to white label your app's email notifications. White labeling allows you to customize the "from" address and domain of emails sent by the platform.

      Important
If the CNAME records are not updated, the email domains will default to notifications@uberall.com

      Prerequisites:

    • Access to your DNS settings (provided by your domain registrar or hosting provider).
    • Understanding of DNS records, specifically CNAME records.

    General Steps:

These steps provide general guidance. The specific steps and requirements may vary depending on your DNS provider. Here, is a general how-to configure the CNAME record. We encourage that you find the steps for your particular provider.

      Important
In this process we will be creating new CNAME records. Be sure to leave the old CNAME records in place. Our team will notify you once it is safe to remove the old CNAME Records.

    Create a CNAME Record:

    Type CNAME
    Name xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx._domainkey.whitelablebrand.xxx
    Value xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.dkim.amazonses.com

    * Unique Name key is provided to you by Uberall. The Name is separated from the Value by a colon.

    (ex. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx._domainkey.whitelablebrand.xxx : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.dkim.amazonses.com)

**Values in RED are unique to your individual records

    Troubleshooting:

    • If you encounter any errors, review the following:
      • Verify the CNAME record: Double-check the hostname and target in your DNS settings.
      • Remove any unnecessary spaces or special characters

Also refer to your DNS provider's support documentation to ensure that you are updating the CNAME record correctly.
