    Request Located-in relationship

    This article shows how to request an edit of the located in relationship for a location, which is located in another location - e.g. a shop in a mall. 

    Request Located-in relationship

    Open Google Maps (or Google Search) and search for the location which should be nested in another location:

    Click "Suggest an edit" and click "Change name or other details"

    Search under "Located within" for the parent location - select the parent and click "Send". In case you want to remove a relationship, just remove the Parent location and click "Send".

    Google will review your request and send you an email with their decision. Find out more here.
