Staying informed about customer feedback is essential for managing your reputation effectively. You can choose to receive notifications for all new reviews or for reviews that match specific filters. This article explains both options step by step.
Option 1: Receive Email Notifications for All New Reviews
Step 1: Activate Review Notifications
- Go to the User Rights section.
- Under Email Notifications, activate the option for New Reviews.
Step 2: Define Notification Frequency
- Choose how often you would like to receive emails:
- Immediate: Receive an email as soon as a new review is posted.
- Daily: Receive a summary email each morning with all new reviews.
This setting will trigger notifications for all reviews.
Option 2: Receive Email Notifications Only for Specific Reviews
If you only want to receive email notifications for specific types of reviews, you can create and subscribe to review filters. Filters let you narrow down notifications by criteria such as rating, date, status, or country.
Step 1: Set Up Review Filters
- Navigate to Review Management > Inbox.
- Apply filters based on your preferences. You can filter by:
- Business
- Country
- Location
- Label
- Groups
- Directory
- Feedback type (e.g., Reviews, Questions, Photos)
- Reviews (With text, Without text)
- Status (e.g., Read/Unread, Replied/Unreplied, All)
- Star value
Step 2: Save Your Filter
- Apply the filters, then click Save.
- Give your filter a name for easy reference.
- Toggle on “Subscribe to email” to start receiving notifications for this filter.
Subscribe to an Existing Filter
- In the Inbox, open the filter drop-down to view your saved filters.
- Click the three dots next to the filter you want to subscribe to and select Settings.
- Toggle on “Subscribe to email” to enable notifications for that filter.
