Access & Permissions Creating Social Post Templates Template Settings Managing Templates and Folders Using Templates For Restricted Users For Users with Full Rights Tip

The Templates Library, located under the Social tab, is a powerful tool that allows users to save, share, and reuse social media post templates. It streamlines content creation and promotes brand consistency, especially across large or distributed teams.

    Access & Permissions

Access to the Templates Library depends on user permissions:

    • Users with Digital Asset Management permission: Can create, manage, and organize social post templates and folders.
    • Users without Digital Asset Management: Can only view and use templates that have been made available to locations they have access to.

    Creating Social Post Templates

There are three ways to create a social post template:

    1. From the Templates Tab: Navigate to the Templates tab and click New Template.
    2. When Creating a New Post: Click Save as Template before publishing.
    3. From an Existing Post: Open an existing post and select Save as Template.

    Template Settings

When saving a post as a template, you’ll be prompted to fill in the following:

    • Template Name
    • Description
    • Folder – You can select an existing folder or type a new name and click Create New.
    • Locations – Select the locations where the template will be available.
    • Visibility – Choose between Visible (accessible to other users) or Hidden (Data Asset Management users only).
    • Time Range – Define when the template should be available for use.

    Managing Templates and Folders

All templates are stored in the Templates tab and are organized into folders. When creating a new folder, you'll define:

    • Folder Name
    • Description
    • Visibility:
    • Visible – Accessible to all users with appropriate location access.
    • Hidden – Only visible to other Data Asset Management users.
