Manual Sync Option 1: From Location Hub Option 2: From Location Profile Automatic Sync (Recommended) How to Enable Auto-sync Key Notes on Sync Options How Long Does Sync Take?

Sync (synchronization) is the process of submitting your location information to our publishing partners to request an update.

When you create or edit a location in our platform, the updated information is not automatically sent to all directories just by saving it. Instead, you can:

    • Manually trigger a sync whenever you make updates.
    • Or enable automatic sync to let the platform send updates on its own.

Learn more about both options below.

    Manual Sync

Manual sync requires you to trigger the update every time you make a change.

    Option 1: From Location Hub

    1. Go to the Location Hub tab.
    2. Select the check box next to the location name.
    3. Click  Sync (top right).

This method allows you to update multiple locations at once.

    Option 2: From Location Profile

    1. Select a location.
    2. Open the Profile section.
    3. Click Sync now (top right corner).

    Automatic Sync (Recommended)

With Auto-sync enabled, any change you make will automatically sync to directories at regular intervals—no further action needed.

    How to Enable Auto-sync

    • Single location: Toggle on the Auto-sync button in the location’s profile section.
    • Multiple locations: Use the bulk import function.
      • In the import template, change the value in the autosync column to true for all applicable locations.

    Key Notes on Sync Options

    • Both manual and auto-sync actions are managed at the location level.
    • In the Location Hub (if you manage more than one), you can only trigger the Sync now option.
    • You can filter your locations by their sync status via the drop-down filter in the Location Hub.
      • Synced
      • Sync Never Started
      • Requires New Sync
      • Requires Review
    • Auto-sync can also be turned on or off via the import tool (true = on, false = manual sync).

    How Long Does Sync Take?

    Synchronization times vary by directory:

    • Some (like Google) apply changes in real time.
    • Others may take a few hours to several days.
    • Creating a brand-new listing can take anywhere from minutes to days, depending on the directory.
