Wondering which fields are being mapped to your Google listing and which are visible on the location?

You can see below an overview of what kind of data is actively transferred to Google Search and Google Maps.

However, data that is not pushed to Google does not mean it is unnecessary or not important. On the contrary, it is very important for all our other directories, as it provides them with important information, which significantly increases your visibility on Google.

For the ongoing updates to be successful, it is important that you manage your updates from the platform. If the owner is doing the updates directly in Google Business Profile with a more recent time stamp than the updates in the platform, the system will NOT overwrite the field. To learn more about the Google update logic click here.

    Basic Data

    General Info

    Google shows your:

    • Name
    • Street
    • Street No.
    • Address Extra
    • ZIP
    • City
    • Service Areas
    • “I don't serve customers at my location address“ is mapped to “I deliver goods and services to my customers at their locations."
    • Categories

The most important Category is the first Category, called Primary Category. Only the Primary Category will be displayed in Google Search and Maps, and predefines which attributes can be selected for the specific location. For reference and citation reasons, we recommend that you set up a total of 5 categories (up to 10 via the excel import) in order to achieve the best possible visibility.

    • Location identifier is mapped to your Google Store Code for internal use

    • Special Opening Hours
      • To have a location set as temporarily closed on Google, the location should have at least 14 days of special opening hours set to closed. To add special opening hours, the regular opening hours have to be present.
