Boost your Apple Business Visibility

Apple Business Connect Insights Report

 Activation: Included in all packages or for customers with standalone listings.

The Apple Business Connect Insights Report is an all new dashboard available in Analytics! This report is made possible through our trusted partnership with Apple - making Uberall one of the first platforms to offer performance data on managed Apple Maps Place Cards.

The new report provides the following data:

  • View & Place Card tap counts
  • Place Card Interactions (Clicks to directions, calls, photos, website, shares, and business actions). 
  • How customers discovered the Apple Maps Place Cards (Searching, From Maps, or Third Party Apps).
  • Performance data by location

Using this data can help businesses to get an understanding of important KPIs on Apple Maps Place Cards and better understand the value that Apple Maps generates for their business.

The Apple Business Connect Insights Report requires businesses to register for an enterprise account with Apple Business and authenticate the connection in Uberall.              
 

 

 

 

Apple Business Level Logo & Cover Photo

Users can now manage the Place Card logo and cover photo at the business level in Uberall. This will allows businesses to save time and ensure consistency across all managed locations. Updating the logo at the business level enables the cover photo to be visible on Apple Place Cards. Cover photos on Apple Place Cards can be managed at the business level or by each location in the Location Hub. 

For the new Business Level updates, visit the ‘Businesses’ section in the Location Hub. Select the Connections tab and begin the process for connecting your Apple Business Connect enterprise account. During this process you will be able to upload the logo and cover photo. 

If you've already connected your Apple Business Connect account you can make the adjustments by locating the connected business and clicking on the ‘Edit’ option in the three-dot menu.

 

Apple Maps Category Expansion

Apple increased the amount of Categories available for business listings on Apple Maps! This means that brands can better represent their business and improve their visibility in Apple Maps search results. The expansion bumps the number of available categories from 2,300 to 3,700! There are also improvements in the category levels from 2 to 5 in some categories like restaurants. Uberall is now supporting the new categories to ensure that businesses can take advantage of better classifying their locations. It's a great time to review your categories and ensure that you've designated the best option for your locations!

4Screen - New Publisher Integration

4Screen offers an infotainment platform that enables automakers (e.g., Audi, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and more!) to integrate various digital services directly into their vehicles, one of which is in-car navigation. Managing listings on 4Screen enables businesses to reach consumers who use their vehicle’s navigation system to easily find points of interest and local businesses. By integrating with 4Screen we are expanding the list of publishers we support making Uberall a source of truth that ensures your data is maintained on the publishers that can help you maximize conversions!          
 

 

EV Data on Local Pages via API

  Activation: Available for EV Customers with Locator & Pages

  Prerequisite:  Requires EV Data in platform (e.g., ECO-Movement Integration) 

 

 

For those using Uberall’s Locator and Local Pages API, you will now be able to display live EV data on your Local Pages! With this update, customers can easily identify the types of chargers available, the power delivery, and how many are available ‘right now.’ With the EV data readily available customers can confidently plan their trips, reduce wait time, and have peace of mind when range is a concern. 

 

Insights & Analytics Innovations

Enhanced Local SEO Report

  Activation: Included in all packages or for customers with standalone listings.

As businesses work on improving their ranking in local searches, they’ll want to track the success of their efforts. The Local SEO Report provides users with visibility into how locations are ranking in local search results for keywords elected by the business. For this new iteration we are introducing new metrics and data sets that help users see a more holistic view of performance. 

  1. Users will now be able to identify the percentage of managed locations that are ranking in the Top 1, Top 3, and Top 10 spots of local search results. Easily get at a glance data or see trending data for a specified timeframe.    
     
  2. A new Keyword Ranking table helps users to identify how managed locations are performing for each keyword that has been specified by the business. Each location will show a search rank value and color code to easily identify its position in search for a specified keyword. 
    • Green indicates the location in is the Top 3 (1-3) rank for the selected keyword in the selected timeframe, 
    • Yellow indicates the location is in the Top 10 (4-10)  rank for the keyword in the selected  timeframe.
    • Red indicates the location is in the Top 60 (11-60) rank for the keyword in the selected timeframe.
    • White indicates the location did not rank for the keyword during the selected timeframe.      
       
  3. Lastly the ‘Top Keyword Movers’ has been consolidated into one column (Biggest Movers) to streamline the view and easily identify which keywords are making the most impact or require more attention. 

Using this insight can help businesses to determine which locations are performing well and those that may be struggling. When a location may be struggling with ranking for a particular keyword, businesses can make efforts to further optimitize the listings and local pages, create new social content, reply to reviews, etc.

 

Listings Innovations

Request Access for Google Business Profile

 Activation: Included in all packages or for customers with standalone listings.

We are making it easier to get the permissions needed to manage Google Business Profile data in the Uberall platform. With this release, admins can send a request to Google Business Profile owners and request authorization streamlining the onboarding process. This is a great option for decentralized models where a corporate team may otherwise struggle with connecting franchisees' GBPs. 

Visit the new ‘Request Access’ page in the Org Settings of the platform. Here, users will be able to create and manage access links. When creating a link, businesses have the opportunity to brand the request and add a custom message to help instill confidence for GBP owners providing access to their locations.

 

Once an owner receives the request, they can follow a simple process for granting access to manage their GBP listings. All that is required is for the owner to login into their Google Business Profile account, select the business and locations to provide access for. The request can be completed on desktop or mobile - making it easy for any franchisee to provide access anywhere they are! Once access is granted, admins will be able to then proceed with connecting the GBP to the platform.

 

 

 

Mobile App Innovations

Perform Multi-Location Actions

Multi-location managers can now truly take advantage of the Mobile App! In this update, we make it easy to take on tasks for all your locations anywhere! Manage reviews, create social posts, and update location data while on the go! 

In the Inbox, users can find a new “Locations” filter that allows them to choose the locations they want to see content for. The Social post builder has been updated to include a location selector making it easier than ever to publish new content for multiple locations. Lastly, the Locations section will prompt users to first decide which of their managed location they would like to update.

Reviews Innovations

Bulk AI Responses

Last year we introduced the Reply Assistant - Uberall's AI integration that helps users effortlessly craft tailored responses to reviews. We are now enhancing that capability to allow users to respond to multiple (20) reviews at once!

Uberall's Reply Assistant is capable of identifying the context and language of a review to quickly draft up a reply. Users can then review the response and make modifications before publishing. 

The Bulk Responses uses the same technology to come up with individualized responses for each review selected. Simply select multiple reviews and choose “reply” from the bulk actions. Then click “Generate with AI” and watch the magic happen! Replies will be created in a draft mode make it possible for users to review the response, make modifications, or have the Reply Assistant generate a new reply. 

 

Bulk Exports

We are adding the capability to export the engagement data found in the new Inbox! Users can download .CSV file of comprehensive data that includes details around all engagements in the Inbox (reviews and social comments). This can help businesses to review customer feedback and employee responses that are published. 

Key data fields that are included in the Export:

  • Business and Location details (name, address, etc.)
  • Date of the review or social comment
  • Rating or recommendation (reviews only)
  • Review or Comment text from customer
  • Direct link to original content
  • Business reply and reply date. 

To download the data simply select your filters for Inbox and click on Export.

Last season we began the steps for migrating businesses to the new Inbox where users can manage their reputation! This season we are continuing the process to ensure that all customers have the new Inbox activated on their account.     
 

In case you missed it - our innovative new Inbox feature integrates social comments and reviews into one convenient interface, simplifying the management of your social interactions. In addition, save time and resources with bulk replies to similar reviews or leverage our AI-powered Reply Assistant to effortlessly craft messages in over 80 languages all in one place.

 

 

Location Data Management Innovations

Real-time Olo Updates

We are improving our connection with Olo to enable real-time location data and menu updates via Olo's Vendor Export Webhook. Using the webhook, Uberall is able to identify and pull changes made to the Olo location data for specific fields supported by the platform. Once the data is pulled, the location data in the platform will be processed and synced to ensure data consistency.

Users can subscribe to the webhook in their Olo account. After subscribing, users will need to share the 64-character secret with Uberall to have a webhook connected to their account.    
 

 

Social Innovations

Digital Asset Manager Workflow Updates

We are making improvements to the user experience when creating, managing and utilizing social post templates. We've consolidate the view of the Asset Library and the Template Library into one so that all actions occur in the same place. Users will no longer need to visit the Asset Library to create or manage templates while separately using the Template Library to publish them. New user permissions have also been created to define which users have the ability to create, manage, and/or publish templates.
