Location-based brands often face challenges when it comes to attributing revenue to specific marketing efforts due to the complexity of customer journeys across multiple touchpoints. Limited tracking tools, data silos, and the difficulty of linking online and offline interactions make this even harder. As a result, many businesses rely on manual methods—gathering data from multiple sources and analyzing it in spreadsheets to assess the impact of marketing activities.
Uberall’s Revenue Estimator helps solve this issue by estimating the revenue generated from your local marketing efforts. It provides an automated and easy way to track and quantify the return on investment (ROI) of your local marketing activities, reducing the uncertainty around their impact.
The Revenue Estimator is part of Uberall’s broader focus on improving local marketing performance for businesses. By optimizing your presence across directories and providing insights into how local marketing efforts drive foot traffic and revenue, it allows you to make more informed decisions about where to invest in your marketing efforts.
Revenue Estimator Widget
The Revenue Estimator Widget is located on the Uberall Homepage. It shows you the estimated revenue generated from your local marketing activities alongside Uberall’s Location Performance Score (LPS). In this widget, you will see:
- Total Revenue: The estimated total revenue for the selected time period, based on your listings and click types.
- Time Period: The time period for which the revenue calculation applies.
- Total Clicks: The number of clicks counted to estimate the revenue.
- Revenue Trend: A comparison of how your revenue has changed compared to the previous time period.
You can adjust the revenue calculation anytime by clicking Edit Calculation in the widget.
The total revenue shown in the widget is based on all locations you have access to. Use the filters on the Homepage to narrow down the data to specific locations or businesses.
Revenue Calculation Panel
The Revenue Calculation Panel uses data from your listings clicks and Uberall’s benchmarking data to estimate the footfall revenue for your locations. The data that is used will come from channels that include click reporting (e.g., Google, Bing, Apple Maps, etc).
You can customize the calculation by configuring the following variables:
- Click-to-Visit Rate: The percentage of clicks on your listings that result in a location visit.
- Visit-to-Purchase Rate: The percentage of visits to your locations that convert into purchases.
- Average Purchase: The average value of transactions at your locations.
You can also specify which listings to include in the calculation and adjust the click types that best reflect your business model using the Advanced Filter dropdown.
Additionally, you can define the currency for your revenue calculation and choose the time period to analyze (e.g., past month, quarter, or year).
Only Admin users can configure the Revenue Calculation, and these settings apply across all locations and businesses under your account.
Uberall’s Revenue Estimator simplifies the process of tracking the financial impact of local marketing efforts. With the tool, you can access accurate revenue estimations, make informed decisions, and automate reporting without relying on manual processes.
