In this article, we explain how to connect your Instagram account(s) to the platform. Once your Instagram account is linked, you’ll be able to post directly to your Instagram page and manage comments on those posts from your Feed.
To establish the connection, the user must have login credentials for the Instagram account(s) being connected. Since Instagram connections are routed through Facebook, the user must also have admin access to the corresponding Facebook page—either a location page or a brand page.
Follow along as we guide you step-by-step through the process!

Step 3 – Connect Instagram to Uberall
Once Instagram is a Business Account and linked to Facebook, the final step is to connect it to Uberall.
There are two ways to connect Instagram in Uberall, depending on how your Facebook Pages are structured:
-
Business-Level Connection (Recommended for brands with Facebook Brand/Location structure)
- Best for brands that manage multiple locations under a Facebook Brand/Location hierarchy
- All Instagram accounts are connected through the Facebook connection in one step
- This method makes it easier for admins to connect and manage multiple Instagram accounts centrally
- Recommended if you are connecting a brand Instagram connection
-
Location-Level Connection (For standalone or local-managed pages)
- Best if your Facebook Pages are not in a Brand/Location structure
- Each Instagram account is connected individually
- Suitable for cases where location managers are responsible for connecting their own pages
Business Level Connect
- In Uberall, navigate to the Location Hub, then go to Businesses → Connections.
- Check the Facebook connection
- If you've already connected Facebook, you can proceed with connecting Instagram in the next step
- If you have the option, log in to Facebook follow the process for authorizing the Facebook connection
- This user should be an Admin of the platform and Meta (Facebook) accounts.
- Once the connection is complete, this Facebook connection becomes the default connection for the entire business. Any newly created locations will be nested under the parent’s structure.
