Cyber attacks are one of the top risk business face. Many of them can be prevented by adding an extra layer of protection to ensure user accounts' security beyond just a username and password.

What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA), sometimes referred to as two-step verification or dual-factor authentication, is a security process in which users provide two different authentication factors to verify themselves. 2FA is used to better protect both your credentials and your account.

What types of 2FA are supported?

Email can be used as a second factor for authenticating within the platform.

How can I enable the extra layer of security?

Head to your User's settings you will find it under Security Settings.

What else do I need to know?

We will use the email which is on your User profile. Once 2FA is activated and verified, we will send an Email to your inbox with a verification code which you need to input every time you log in to the platform.

You can deactivate 2FA at any point – we will send an email and ask you to input the code to ensure no one else is doing it on your behalf. For the same reason, if 2FA is active and you wish to change your email, you first need to deactivate 2FA and only then you will be able to change your email.
