In Uberall's Location Hub, location data is structured around three core objects: Businesses, Locations, and Listings. These objects define the structure and hierarchy of a profile within the application.
1. Businesses
A Business is a logical grouping of locations.
Businesses are often used by companies managing multiple brands, regions, countries, or subsidiaries within a single Uberall profile. This structure allows different roles and access rights to be assigned to users based on the business they are associated with.
- To create your first location, you must first create at least one business.
- A single profile can contain an unlimited number of businesses, and each business can contain an unlimited number of locations.
- However, a Location can only belong to one Business at a time.
- To activate a Business, a Product Plan must be assigned to it.
2. Locations
A Location contains the core data that is sent to directories and forms the basis of your public Listings.
Locations refer to physical or commercial entities such as stores, offices, pick-up/drop-off points, or information centers.
You can configure:
- Whether the address is visible to customers.
- Whether the location offers specific on-site services.
This is the foundational object where your operational and directory-related data is stored and managed.
3. Listings
Listings are the most granular level of data and represent the actual published profiles on external directories (e.g., Google, Facebook, Yelp).
- Listings are hosted by the directories but managed through Uberall.
- A Listing profile is the final, public-facing result — what customers see online — containing all relevant location details.
