When I try to connect a verified Google location to the platform it does not find it and prompts me to "Create and Connect"

The algorithm used to find the listing takes into consideration the location information in the platform to do the match.

If you don't have an option to choose the existing location during the Google connect flow when connecting a location in our platform, please check the following:

  1. That you have at least manager access to the Google My Business (GMB) location;
  2. If the affected location can be found in the ungrouped locations on GMB rather than the location group that was chosen in the connection flow. If it is in the ungrouped location on GMB, you can easily transfer the location into the business account. However, to do so you will need to have ownership rights to the location. In case you are a manager only you need to click on "Manage this location in your ungrouped locations" in the connection flow rather than selecting a location group in the connection flow.
  3. Ensure that the NAP data (Name, Address, Phone number) is exactly the same for the location in our platform and its counterpart in the GMB business account.
