Creating a GBP location through the platform

What happens when you would like to create a new location from the platform on Google?

Once you add a location to the platform and connect Google, an api call requesting the listing creation will be immediately sent by the system.

Once the API creation call is sent Google either rejects or accepts the data:

Decision Tree

  • Google accepts data

  • Google rejects the data
  • Add Button

The listing will be created and show on the platform when you click on Google in directories (will be. highlighted as the listing is linked)
If Google rejects the address, you will see the status in the platform as "your location is being manually reviewed" or "location is being created, please be patient"

If the location has not yet been cleansed when you connect, the lat & long will not be sent on the creation request.

This means the location needs to be cleansed before we can start another attempt to create the location this time sending the lat & long together with the rest of the data. 

Once the location is cleansed, we trigger a creation call via API, sending the lat & long in our call and successfully create the listing

Should a location be in the review stage for a prolonged period of time (one month or more), the fastest way would be to write to operations@uberall.com in order to prioritize the cleansing process.
