Introduction
The Uberall platform makes it easy to upload photos and videos to your location profiles. In this article, you will learn how to upload new media to location profiles so that they can be published to the connected publishers. You can also find the specifications on what is supported for the different media, directories, and format types.
Below you will find out the main requirements for uploading media such as photos, logos and videos, as well as how to do it directly in our platform or via the bulk import feature.
Photos and Logos
If you would like to add photos for an individual location, you can do so under Locations > Photos & Videos.
Managing Photos in the UI
Uploading Photos
Photo files can be uploaded into the platform by dragging and dropping or browsing your computer for the selected files.
Moving a Photo Between Albums
Photos can be moved from one album to another by:
- Hover over the photo to be moved
- Clicking on the eye icon on the image
- Selecting the album the photo should be moved to within the modal that opens
Change the Order of Photos Within and Album
The order of photos within an album are the order they are sent to the directories. Since it may be helpful to have higher visibility for certain photos, users can use the six dot icon at the bottom left of an image (when hovered over) to drag and drop images within an album to rearrange their order.
Requirements
The formats and file sizes depend on the type of photo you wish to upload:
Some directories have limits on photo sizes that are less than those above. For these directories, we automatically compress the photos to fit the directory's requirements so that they will be accepted.
Bulk Import
If your photos are publicly hosted on a server and each photo contains an individual URL, you can easily insert those URLs into the import file (Excel sheet) and import it.
Several URLs per location can be inserted in the corresponding cell, as long as they are separated by a comma.
There is no limitation from our platform on the number of imported photos, although some directories may impose limits.
Videos
